Nobody picking the Dolphins as a wild card team? You guys are nuts. ;) On a serious note, I do think the Dolphins will be much improved over last year. Pennington will really help and their offense will surprise you IF Ginn and Hagan really step up this year. Their receivers and TEs are the weakest part of the offense by far and if the young guys play up to their potential (big IF), they could be a pain in the ass in the division. The defense certainly has some pass rush issues that concern me. They should be decent against the run and pass but I don't think they will be good enough to offset an offense that may struggle at times. Ricky will be a huge boost to this team though. Just hope he keeps his nose clean. |

I must be in minority... and not just because I am a handicapped Jewish black woman.... but I think the Jets make a playoff push. Favre makes a difference, but I'm far more sold on the combination of the offensive line (D'Brickashaw and Mangold + Faneca and Woody) combined with a very underrated (IMO) Thomas Jones. Add in Jericho Cotcherrey and I think this offense COULD be one of the Top 6-8 in the AFC. Certainly a playoff capable offense. |

There's one thing I disagree with you on Clay about the Jets - Thomas Jones. He WAS underrated. I think he's past his prime. Jones is now 30 and this is his 9th season. Granted, he didn't have a lot of miles on him in his first few years but his career ypc is 3.9. I don't see him doing much better at his age. |

Thomas Jones has always been underrated and he did wonders for the Bears a few years ago. Sometimes I wish they would have not of dumped him for that piece of shit Benson. |
