Good impressions. I think the most visual improvements to 2K9 are player faces, don't see much after that and it tends to have more jaggies (especially PS3) than Live 09.

I've played both demos a lot on both systems. I think Live 09 looks all around the better looking product and it plays pretty nice too. 2K9 OTOH just feels like a real game of BB partially because of the physics, not taking anything away from Live 09.

I plan on buying both for $39.99 next Sunday at TRU when they have their B2G1 free offer. This year both games have a lot to offer and i'm really intrigued/excited by what Live 365 DNA will bring to the table. It'll be interesting to see how it all comes together and if it will separate it from NBA2K. The big question is will it work as this is the first year of that new feature.

I can say so far, the DNA thing works. The rosters are completely up to date, where 2K's I guess aren't. The DNA updated this morning at 4:30 AM EST. I'm guessing that's when it'll update every day.

Excellent news. I can't wait till Tues/Wed, whenever it comes out.

Rod, I would think the DNA feature would change up gameplay since stats would be getting updated on a daily basis for players. But it wouldn't be without EA jacking this up somehow.

That's my fear sort of like Microsoft with Windows Vista.
