It's actually the Show '08 (not '09). Yes, the one sports game out there that doesn't feel the need to use the future to sell games.

I've actually never played any of those modes like Superstar mode or Road to the Show. I want the whole experience and the variety that goes along with it. In the Show, I love pitching, hitting and fielding. I just can't imagine limiting myself to just one position although the short time it takes to play those games is intriguing.

Fixed, thanks!

Yeah, I love playing The Show, if not just for the fact that I can breeze through 20-30 games in a sitting if I'm really determined.

I loved the Show this year but got frustrated with it. I find the pitch speed too fast for my skills. People can say I suck but I want to lower the pitch speed enough so I can actually pull a fastball without guessing. I don't like the Guess pitch feature either and don't use it. You should never be able to guess a pitch and be 100% certain of it. I know it simulates "sitting on a pitch" and if the success rate of the guess pitch still had some wiggle room (like 10% of the time it says you guessed right but fooled you) I would be more accepting of it. The odds of me turning on a fastball WITHOUT blindly swinging at anything within a foot of the strike zone were poor. The pitch speed slider didn't do a whole lot for me either. I generally find pitching easy and hitting hard on most baseball games.

Excellent piece Linty. I have found the RTTS to be so good I don't play any other modes. Case in point, i'm also playing MLB Power Pros and going thru Success Mode which is like RTTS only better and more in depth.

What I like about these new virtual 'ME' modes is that they are true RPG's when you think about it. You actually level up as you get better and your strength grows you play and perform better.

The RTTS and MLB Power Pros allows me to be the stud starting Pitcher i've always dreamed of becoming.

I agree Lintz, I been feeling the same way. Here I have a 360 and Ps3 and I am getting bored of them both. I like 2k hockey this year, but it seems like I would rather sleep or do something else. Oh and Lintz just for you. :waytogo:
